+ Why should I choose a professional dog walker/pet sitter, See Spot Sit?

We have provided professional pet care services since 2000. That is 20+ years of experience working with your beloved companions and learning every day how to continually provide excellent care for pets and peace of mind for their humans. Hiring a team rather than an individual means your pet will still be covered in the event one team member becomes unavailable (e.g., falls ill or gets delayed by a flat tire/accident). No matter what, we’ll be there!

+ What areas do you service?

We service Central San Diego as far South as downtown, as far West as the beaches, as far North as La Jolla, and as far East as the west side of the SDSU college area. If you’re not sure we service your area, feel free to contact us, and we’ll map it.

+ What are your hours of service?

We provide services from 7am to 6pm, 365 days per year.

+ What kind of animals do you care for?

We have experience caring for most household pets. Bearded dragons, snakes, chickens, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish tanks (including reef tanks) and of course dogs and cats. If you have a pet who requires specific instructions, we are your team!

+ What is your cancellation policy?

Dog walking cancellation policy: No charge with more than 24 hours notice. Pet sitting cancellation policy: No charge with more than 72 hours notice. 25% charge with less than 72 hours notice and 100% charge with less than 24 hours notice (applied to the full booking).

+ Are you insured and bonded?

Yes, we are insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.

+ How do I receive updates about my pet’s visits?

You’ll get an update and photos sent after each visit through Time to Pet. We handle booking, invoicing, and real-time client communication through this platform. Our clients love it!

+ How do I prepare for the initial complimentary consultation?

We will send you a welcome email from Time to Pet so you can activate an account and add your address/contact/pet details prior to the meeting in your home.

+ How do you handle keys and access to my home?

For the convenience and safety of our clients and their homes we ask for keys to be placed in a lockbox (where available). If you don’t have a lockbox, don’t worry! + Can I book See Spot Sit to share care of my pets with my friends/relatives/neighbors while I am away?

We believe our furry, feathered, and scaled clients deserve as much love and attention as possible, but we have a policy against sharing care of pets for liability reasons. We care a lot about continuity of care and it is difficult to place responsibility if anything goes wrong when passing care off or taking care over from someone else. This means that we need to be the sole pet care provider for the duration of your trip.
