Flyball is a members-only activity. Does your dog live for, eat and dream about tennis balls? Try flyball! Flyball is a fun, fast-paced sport for any dog regardless of size, shape, color, or energy level. What is it? Competition between teams of dogs and handlers. A dog and a handler from two competing teams line up at a starting line. At a signal, the dogs are sent over four jumps, they push off a box, grab a flung tennis ball in mid air and fly back over the four jumps to the starting line. When their noses cross the starting line, the next teammate dog takes off for its turn. The fastest team wins but, everyone has a great time! Even if your dog isn't totally crazy, you can teach him/her the basics of flyball. It's really not about the competition but, having fun with your dog.
